We are looking for Tufting Operatives to join our team here at G-Tuft. Experience of operating a tufting machine is a great advantage. The job will entail:

- 1. To assist with the daily review of machine performance over previous 24hours with the aim of:

Identifying and resolving problems using your own initiative
- Gauging maintenance needs
- Improving machine performance / output by fine tuning and identifying problems
- Improving carpet quality / appearance by fine tuning and identifying problems
- 2. To assist and co-ordinate in a hands-on way the completion of timely preventative maintenance - including documentation of actions taken.
- 3. To assist with production / quality issues when required.
- 4. To assist with trial and development activities.
- 5. To coach, mentor and direct senior tuners and tuners into setting the machine for optimum performance for output and quality
- 6. To ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements of the Company are met within the Department at all times. Always ensure that machines are safe for operation following any work done on them.
- 7. To keep the work area clean and tidy at all times.
- **8. The job holder will be required from time to time to carry out other duties in order to meet the needs of the business.
- To work in a professional manner at all times and comply with the company’s policy and procedures.
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Keen eye for detail.

The role will be Temp for the first 3 months leading to a Perm contract, You will start on £11.03, this will rise with training and experience.
