**About the role**:
Your day will start at around 7am either at the warehouse where you will help pick items and load onto your vehicle, or you’ll operate straight from home if the vehicle has been loaded the day before. Attention to detail is important, ensuring that all items are correctly loaded and cross checked against picking lists and pre prepared delivery notes.

Care must be taken to avoid breakages and where heavy lifting is required you must follow the Health & Safety procedures documented in the staff handbook.

Journey plans and routes must be processed in advance and there may be a need to manage routes using our integrated inventory CRM system as our business embraces new technology.

Your typical day will include the distribution and collection of equipment to customers across designated areas, returning to our main warehouse at the end of each day.

**About You**:
You’ll be upbeat, customer focussed and understand the need to deliver great products and service to our customers on time. You must be a team player but also work independently, using initiative, making the right decisions to ensure goods are delivered or collected safely and on schedule. You must also be fit, healthy and able to lift heavy goods following the guidelines provided.

We deliver in all weather conditions, so you must enjoy working outdoors and accommodate our customer’s needs as best you can, displaying a friendly and great attitude to both customers and other members of the team.

Some customer experience would be ideal, but full training will be provided. You will be driving a 3.5 tonne company vehicle therefore you must possess a UK driving licence displaying your current UK address which will be checked at interview. The licence must have no more than 6 penalty points.
