Pinnula is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Support Consultant to join thier team. They write and support their own ERP solution UNIPLAN as well as assist customers with ad hoc IT issues. They have a support desk which is manned during office hours dealing with product support queries as well as some hardware and infrastructure configuration.
There is the opportunity to develop configuration skills for the Windows, Linux, and AIX environments as well as Virtual servers, prereferral devices, networking, and security.
Supporting ERP software varies from customer to customer so you will be given training on the software and business processes that the software is used within.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
**A Typical Day in the Job**:
- Resolve first line calls
- Manage support desk call progression with customer feedback
- Communicate regularly with customers
- Perform testing and diagnosis on support issues
- Meet the support desks SLA’s
- Update notes and configure changes where required
- Recommend improvement to processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, consultants, and testers, to deliver a high quality experience.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
