**Title**: Transport Planning Supervisor

**Location**:Buckinghamshire, England

**Salary**:£37,000-45,000 + bonus + benefits (income protection, life insurance, gym discounts, etc.)

Pod Talent is excited to be partnering up with a global and well-known manufacturer based in Buckinghamshire who are looking for a hard-working Transport/Logistics professional to join their team.

As a Transport/Logistics coordinator you will have excellent organization and communication skills which you will use for building and maintain internal and external relationships. In this role you will be responsible for optimizing processes as well asinspiring your team to ensure the best performance.

**What you will be doing**:
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships relationships with the operation team and 3PL/4PL providers and suppliers, identifying cost saving and services improvement opportunities;
- Use a data driven approach to highlight bottle necks and opportunities to ensure effective movement and planning of goods. Delivering the best service to their customers;
- Leading and motivating a small team and ensuring all KPIs are met, driving best in practice approach instilling a culture of continuous improvement;
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all deliveries are executed within the given KPIs/SLAs;
**About you**:

- You are a hard-working and persistent individual who is not afraid to "role their sleeves up";
- A data driven and analytical person with experience preferably with Excel and SAP;
- You are a confident and well-spoken professional with the ability to manage people;
- You have at least 3 years' experience as a Transport/Logistics/Planning coordinator with strong Logistics knowledge and excellent 3PL management experience
- Bonus Points if you have worked in an LLP/Control Tower capacity.
