**About us**

Phoenix Housing Support is a small, growing company in providing Outreach Support and Supported Accommodation to young people in Carlisle, Cumbria.

Providing support to young people in care to transition to independent living, you will use your judgement and the good relationship that you will develop with young people to arrange each session around their specific needs at the time, adapting and changing plans at last minute if necessary. This could mean you are supporting with education, attending appointments but all the while promoting independent living skills.

You will have the ability to work creatively to provide safety care to young people promoting self
- esteem and confidence while teaching new skills. You will also work closely with both the young person and their support network creating successful outcomes and transitions into independence.

This will include advising guiding and supporting young people displaying risk-taking behaviors challenging behavior drug and alcohol misuse neglect issues and violence.

This is a fast paced challenging but extremely rewarding role and as part of our friendly vibrant and approachable team you will be well supported and work closely with partner agencies to reach the same goal.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Carlisle: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
