**Pest Control - Field Biologist/Technical Inspector**

**Location: Blairgowrie, Perth**

**Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum + Excellent benefits**

An independent Pest Control firm in Scotland is seeking a **Field Biologist/Technical Inspector** to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in managing pest control in various settings, such as homes, farms, offices, factories, shops, restaurants, and more. Our client has a reputation for being efficient, reliable, and effective, and has been established for 20 years.

You will be responsible for supporting the customer by providing advanced technical pest control services, reports, and reviews of the client’s working environment and practices. The role will involve:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting in-depth inspections of the entire site, including less accessible areas where pests are most likely to be active, such as voids and cable runs
- Checking the quality of work being done by the technician
- Reviewing the currency of all the pest control documentation
- Suggesting alternative approaches to resolving problems, if required
- Providing typed reports with photographs to highlight high-risk areas, proofing, and hygiene requirements, and confirm site findings
- Providing expert knowledge in pest control and audit procedures

**Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- RSPH level 2 in pest management
- BPCA Certified Accredited Technician/Technical Inspector
- BPCA Certified Field Biologist or equivalent experience within a field biologist role (preferred)
