**Theatre Scheduler | Private Healthcare | Administration | Wrexham | 12 months FTC | Maternity Cover | Full time | 37.5 hrs | £22,327 per annum**
Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham is looking for a Theatre Scheduler to join their Theatre team on a full time, fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

**Working Hours**:_Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm _
**Contract Type**:_12 months FTC - Maternity Cover _
- As Theatre Scheduler, you will be working proactively with the theatre team and consultants to manage the efficient scheduling of inpatient and day-case procedures. Key responsibilities include full compliance with theatre optimisation and theatre utilisation projects, scheduling patients and ensuring anaesthetic cover. _
**Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Lead the process of booking patients into theatre lists within agreed timescales; this is done in conjunction with the Consultants ensuring that all lists are fully utilised
- Ensure all theatre sessions are populated as far in advance as possible
- Effective utilisation of all available theatre sessions, population of lists and communication of available lists to all consultants on a weekly basis
- Communicate with patients and their representatives both verbally and in writing confirming admission dates
- Monitor closely on a daily basis the patients waiting for dates to be confirmed and action accordingly by contacting relevant consultants and patients to pursue dates
- Prepare and send out admission letters and packages to parents/carers and to deal with any telephone calls relating to these, ensuring that efficient and accurate advice is given at all times and that any follow up calls are made
**Who we're looking for**:
- Experience in a similar role, providing a full high quality service.
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a systematic and organised approach to work
- Able to work with tight deadlines
- Experience working in a hospital or similar set up and knowledge of medical terminology is desirable
