Our trustees play a vital role in making sure the charity achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity and also ensure a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision.

**_What will you be doing?_**

As a charity we are in the fortunate position of not having to worry about fundraising and have a solid financial position.

We have a big office renovation about to commence in the new year, 2024, and we are consistently looking at how we maintain and improve our housing stock in line with its historical preservation.

Some experience we are looking for are financial skills, property experience, legal experience and general governance.

**_What are we looking for?_**

Although there is an extensive list of skills we have asked for (selected skills), no one person is expected to have all of them. We, ideally, are looking for individuals with either a financial, legal, property and or governance background.

**_What difference will you make?_**

As part of our board you will support and shape our work and strategic direction.

You will ensure the long-standing, historical housing in our area of need in Barnet for generations to come, further extending the charity’s historical impact in the area from 1679.
