This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an already established working knowledge of a busy transport department eager to take their career to the next stage.

**The role;**
- General system administration, ensuring jobs are closed off in full within time frames
- Order entry within TMS system
- Ensuring all POD’s are returned & available within the system
- Liaising with partner depots to ensure our daily deliveries are on track & customer informed of any potential issues
- Assisting the planners with the routing of pallet network, groupage & general haulage vehicles including collection management
- Covering the planners roles during times of holiday or absence
- Providing quotes, answering queries and advising customers on the service to suit them. Ensuring we provide a customer journey which is second to none
- Proven track record of working within a transport operation, including a good geographical knowledge of the United Kingdom - desirable
- Assist with capturing if KPI’s in line with business requirements
- Manual filling of office paperwork
- Maintain the accurate information flow on TMS.
- To assist the planning team with Booking in of orders and support at peak times.
- Supporting operations, planners, and customer services to help with the smooth running of the site
