Warehouse Operative

We are an online retail and fulfilment business based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. We specialise in products for home, garden, leisure and DIY, selling via e-commerce and wholesale, as well as providing order fulfilment services for our partners. We pride ourselves on having a great range of quality products, many of which are exclusive, and fantastic customer service.

The last 3 years have seen us undergo a period of rapid growth and expansion. We have a small but brilliant team, are investing in new ranges and attracting new clients for our fulfilment services. To support and drive our future growth, we are expanding our warehouse team and are looking for a **Warehouse Operative **to join the team, reporting to the Operations Manager.

This is a part time, permanent shift role, and will be working all areas of our warehouse including goods in, pick & pack and dispatch.

Mondays, 9am - 1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9am - 2pm

**Key responsibilities**
- Download orders for the day, and pick, pack and dispatch orders to customers
- Receive and book in deliveries
- Pick and prepare pallet deliveries to our larger customers
- Maintain a well-stocked, well laid out, tidy and clean warehouse
- Ensure sufficient stocks of packaging and stationery
- Maintain accurate stock levels including periodic stock count
- Welcome suppliers and clients to our premises and ensure their safety

Whilst the work is not overly strenuous, a good level of physical fitness is a must: you will be on your feet all day, and expected to be able to lift boxes up to 15kg and wheel around pallets.

As a small team, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved with things outside your normal day-to-day, such as customer service, trade shows, evaluating new IT systems, and product sourcing.

**Key skills and experience**
- Ability to work methodically, quickly and accurately. Previous experience in working in a retail, warehouse or operations role, and following defined processes, is highly desirable.
- Physical fitness - must be able to comfortably be on your feet all day, lift boxes and wheel pallets.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22 per week

**Salary**: £10.45 per hour
