Hand Polisher

Overview:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Polish and buff metal parts using hand tools and equipment to achieve desired finish.
- Inspect metal parts for defects and imperfections.
- Follow detailed work instructions and specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain and clean polishing equipment and tools.
- Monitor and manage work to ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality and precision.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and tools.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience with a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and copper.
- Familiarity with different polishing techniques and finishes.
- Basic understanding of metalworking and fabrication processes.
- Vocational training or certification in metalworking or a related field.

**Work Environment**:

- Part-time position with standard working hours.
- Work performed in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals commonly associated with metal polishing.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and masks as required.
