Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities
- Implement and enforce operational procedures and policies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage inventory control and reconciliation
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of products
- Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Train, mentor, and coach warehouse employees
- Address any issues or discrepancies that may arise

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong knowledge of logistics, materials handling, and business processes
- Ability to operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical work
- Experience of supervising/managing staff and delegating tasks
- Experience of delivering training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good administrative and organisational ability
- Problem solver and competent decision maker
- Full UK driving licence
- IT competent and able to use various IT platforms/systems
- Experience and knowledge of adhering to health and safety standards within a warehouse operation
- Forklift Truck operators’ qualification

**Desirable Criteria**:
VNA Forklift Truck operators’ qualification.
