Salon Junior

**Job Role: Salon Junior**.

Permanent. Full time. **Employed status.**

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Located in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells and close to the prestigious Pantiles, we bring to you a new salon experience that is fresh and fun, with a friendly and honest approach.

**Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- Shampoo and condition guest’s hair for stylist
- Take colours off
- Skin tests
- Take Payments
- Take Bookings
- Answer Phone
- Train on Blowdrys
- Make Refreshments
- Keep shampoo area clean and organized
- Maintain salon appearance and cleanliness
- Sweep around stylists' chairs
- Laundry
- Greet guests as they walk in
- Tell the appropriate technician their guest has arrived
- Promote and sell services and products, including recommending and selling additional services and/or retail products which will enhance and improve the guest's satisfaction with services performed
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
- Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
- Model nights weekly

**Hairdressing Experience**:

- **Hairdressing**: 1 years (preferred)
- Needs to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to be trained
- Trainee-level or above
- The ability to follow instructions
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Good spoken English.

**Schedule**:8 hour shift, day shift, plus weekend availability

**The Exchange**:£8 - £10 an hour, plus commission on product sales
