Ice Cream Kiosk Assistant

Our busy café located in the beautiful surroundings of St Annes sea front, is looking to recruit 2 Seasonal general ice-cream kiosk assistants for our beach kiosk to join our friendly team.

**Job Purpose**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Serving customers efficiently, serving of hot and cold beverages, ice-cream, sweets, chocolate and other food items.
- Cash handling and using the till.
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service with the ability to build rapport with customers, building solid relationships resulting in repeat business
- Being knowledgeable about the products and services in the kiosk, giving advice, guidance and recommendations on products to customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Preparing and cleaning the kiosk, before, during and at the end of service to ensure it is ready for the next day.
- Ensuring adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables, maintaining stock rotation, restocking as needed.
- Providing assistance to other staff, as needed.
- Following company policies and adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Managing queues and meeting customer expectations.
- Actively promote and sell products and services. Upsell to maximise profit.

- Ability to communicate with other staff.
- Thorough attention to detail, excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Team player skills, assisting other colleagues when necessary.
- Drive and determination to achieve performance and standards.
- Experience and enthusiasm to contribute and fully support the running of the kiosk, combined with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Highly ambitious with a desire to playing a key role in the continued growth and success of the business.
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service with the ability to build rapport with customers, building solid relationships resulting in repeat business.
- Be willing to learn, take instruction and work under own initiative.

Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential, as training will be provided.

**Salary**: Excellent rate of pay.

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
