Are you passionate about sustainable energy solutions and making a positive impact on the environment? Our client is a small and organic energy consultancy firm based in Islington, North London, is seeking an energetic and talented individual to join our team as an Energy Consultant. This is a Graduate/Junior level role with opportunities for growth and development, suitable for individuals with 1 year of experience or even those with little to no experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team of experts on Passivhaus and Net Zero Carbon projects, delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
- Utilise your expertise in energy modelling using software such as IES, DesignBuilder, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, Revit, MATLAB, OneClickLCA, etc.
- Conduct energy efficiency assessments, climate change impact analysis, and energy calculations to support decision-making processes.
- Engage with clients to understand their energy requirements and provide tailored recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to sustainable energy.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field such as engineering, environmental science, or sustainable energy.
- Experience in energy modelling, energy efficiency, climate change, energy analysis, and calculations.
- Familiarity with software tools such as IES, DesignBuilder, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, Revit, MATLAB, OneClickLCA, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal team members.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
