**The Role**

To provide support to our engineers servicing lifting equipment, mainly as a nominated ground rescue person with additional Health and Safety, First Aid and labouring requirements.

**Duties of the Role**
- To provide support to the service engineers in the form of a nominated ground rescue person, marshal, and H&S spotter
- General labouring duties to support the site and engineers
- Assistance with Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and paperwork if necessary
- Cleaning machinery, equipment and other infrastructure in order to provide the conditions for safe and efficient operation of plant
- Provide general support to the engineers
- Undertake maintenance duties in accordance with procedures, manuals and checklists
- Ensuring tools are in good working condition
- Cleaning and maintaining a safe workshop environment and surrounding areas
- Providing pick-up and delivery duties as requested
- Basic caretaking duties
- Providing offloading and loading labour as requested
- Compliance with all H&S, company policies and procedures
- Compliance with all company environmental policies and procedures

**Skills Required**:

- Experience of labouring duties in an industrial, engineering or building environment
- General H&S awareness
- Able to take full responsibility for all work assigned and to comply fully with Safety and compliance requirements
- Willing and able to be 'called in' outside of normal working hours, if necessary
- Full clean driving licence
- Forklift truck licence would be advantageous
- IPAF licence would be advantageous
- Willing to undergo security clearance if required
