The Mental Health Integrated Community Service (MHICS) has an exciting opportunity for a team Administrator to join our new, dynamic and multi-disciplinary team. A Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm working pattern is just one of the attractions this opportunity will provide to you.

The postholder will support the effective operation of MHICS by providing organisational, administrative and secretarial support to the team members.

The postholder is expected to act on their own initiative on a daily basis to ensure the effective running of the service, prioritising their own workload as required.

The post holder must be able to effectively and professionally liaise with, and negotiate between, all colleagues, service users and their families, members of staff from other external organisations and the public, demonstrating excellent communication skills and dealing with confidential information in an appropriate manner.
- Provide efficient day-to-day administrative, clerical and secretarial support for MHICS; including liaising with GPs/practice staff, MHICS team members, colleagues from voluntary services, patients/their carers, primary care and local authorities.
- Diary management for team members.
- Manage referrals and appointments and update team members as required.
- Attend team meetings where information may be complex and sensitive, taking minutes. Distribute information prior to and after meetings in a timely way.
- Ensure efficient and accurate recording of data on all electronic systems.
- Type confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation to a high standard within agreed timescales.
- Promote effective communication channels across the service, including procedures for answering telephones and taking messages.

**The 3/4 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role**:

- Previous knowledge and experience of working in a busy office and/or customer care environment, and undertaking a full range of administrative duties.
- Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to use a practical problem-solving approach in everyday situations.
- Good IT skills, with an ability to navigate around various systems and software packages, such as Outlook, MS Office, the internet and databases.
