Construction Secretary

Persimmon West Midlands are looking for an experienced Secretary for our Construction Department to provide support to our Construction Director, Contracts Managers and on-site Construction Management teams. The role is based at our Head Office which is in Telford (Wilkinson House, Stafford Court, Stafford Park 1, Telford TF3 3BD). Key responsibilities are producing correspondence, minutes and organising meetings for the Director and Contracts Managers; inputting construction progress data and running weekly reports on COINS; assisting Site Managers with administrative requirements for sites; booking and maintaining training records for all staff and supporting College Trainees and Apprentices until they achieve their qualifications.

The successful applicant will liaise with external organisations such as the NHBC, CITB, local Colleges and sub-contractors and therefore should also be a confident and professional communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
