Contract: Fixed Term to cover a secondment.

Hours**:Full Time: 35 hours per week, 38 weeks term time**.

Salary Range**:Grade 4 Points 7 - 11, (£24294 - £25979 per annum)**

Actual Salary**:£19118 - £20444 per annum**

End Date**:19 July 2024**

Penistone Grammar School has a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant with the enthusiasm and drive to join our SEND provision within our mainstream SEND team. You should be confident working with students in a classroom environment, be comfortable working with an individual student with specific needs and have experience in manual handling techniques. You will share our vision and will have the ability to inspire our young people to achieve more than they believe is possible.

Our learning support assistants work with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities which may include social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), physical, learning difficulties, medical and communication difficulties. We support them holistically - academically and pastorally in both the mainstream classroom setting and small group work.
