An established Claims Management Organisation providing a first class Claims Management service to the Insurance Industry throughout the UK, are now seeking an experienced Motor Claims expert who has good working knowledge of vehicle construction and modernrepair techniques. Due to company growth this will be an exciting time to join. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week based in their Kent office, hybrid working of 2 days in the office 3 remote will be offered following training/inductions.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Working within a dedicated team you will be dealing with policyholders who have suffered a loss following an incident involving their car
- Liaising with policyholders being patient and empathetic
- Proactively manage repairs throughout the customer/policyholders journey
- Obtain relevant information and record this accurately whilst providing an excellent customer service and assistance
- Support inbound and outbound calls in relation to supplier claim queries for repair, total loss, invoicing and recovery charges
- Provide invoice payments to approved repairers and to non-approved repairers for their services
- Negotiate and agree storage and recovery costs, ensuring there is no delay to the customer journey
- Maintain supplier relationships
- Update records and salvage clearance
- First time resolution of any complaints
- Send engineers non fault recovery invoice list
- Receive re-rated invoices from engineers, check all charges and images attached and send to the recovery team to enable recovery from TP insurers

**About you**:

- Motor claims knowledge including a basic understanding of insurance principles
- Good working knowledge of motor vehicle construction and modern repair techniques
- Working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems
- Ability to utilise qualities such as empathy, tact, assertiveness and diplomacy when talking to customers
- Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and where required be able to use own initiative
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- PC literate with good administration skills
