We’re looking for a Staff Writer (Security) to help manage and expand our content reach, with particular focus on security. You can be based at any of our UK offices (Bath, London, Cardiff) on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office).

**What you’ll be doing**

You'll be Researching, writing, updating and editing security content, sub-editing features, reviews and ecommerce content, attending events, conferences and launches as part of the news team - and to represent and expand our security expertise - when appropriate. You'll also be a key point of contact with PR agencies, vendors and manufacturers in the security space and managing security and related ecommerce content around key peak trading events e.g. Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday etc.

**Experience that will put you ahead of the curve**
- Proven experience and understanding relating to IT security
- Ability to craft punchy, compelling content for editorial use
- Have the drive to get work done on time with mínimal oversight
- Ability and willingness to build on any existing management and editorial experience
