The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for the administration of the Supply Chain department including facilitating all relevant commercial systems and processes.

**1 Key Deliverables**
- Maintain effective communication with all disciplines within the Supply Chain
- Taking & recording all subcontractor documentation.
- Amending and formatting documents quickly and accurately, including notice of award information.
- Update and monitor key Databases, ie Supply Chain Database/Conquest/Biosite/ERP
- Setting up & monitoring of all new subcontractors on relevant systems.
- Build on existing Supplier Relationships
- Understand, adhere, and promote Company Procedures
- Provide high quality customer service in all communications with internal and external customers

**2 Main Responsibilities**
- Working as part of the Supply Chain in managing the workload of the department, and ensuring effective cover is maintained.
- Lead & represent department in meetings, and challenge partners & current processes appropriately
- Administering the ERP processes
- Attend Commercial Meetings
- Organizing meetings as needed
- Assisting with compliance checking of Supply Chain by checking Constructionline and issuing and receiving GMI questionnaires.
- Amending and formatting documents quickly and accurately
- Keep information confidential.
- Uphold the GMI company values & mission within conduct and practice.
- A willingness and capability to serve client needs and handle client relations at the highest level.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and the firm’s policies in general.
- Storage of all documentation in SharePoint in accordance with the company’s information management policy and guidelines.
- Meticulous record keeping of all relevant paperwork using the operating framework.
- Any addition reasonable tasks or duties within your capabilities as directed by senior management to suit the needs of the business.
- Attend events at various locations throughout the UK

**3 Experience & Qualifications**

What you can do:

- Previous clerical experience.
- Good admin skills, such as attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent English verbal and written: Communication skills are essential including the ability to relate to people at all levels.
- Professional telephone manner and the ability to take messages effectively and efficiently.
- Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft office 365 packages i.e Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technology and software packages / competent in using relevant business systems to suit job role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Monday to Friday

- LEEDS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supply chain: 1 year (preferred)
