**About PJS Telecoms & Utilities**

Established in 2004 and based in Liverpool, PJS started as an Electrical Contractors before moving more into providing telecoms and utilities contracting services to blue-chip clients and network operators nationwide.

We are a very friendly and open business, and pride ourselves on the excellent service we provide to our varied customers within the telecommunications, utilities and electrical sectors.

Previous experience is required. We are looking for enthusiastic, capable individuals who can work as part of a team. Reliable, with good organisation and timekeeping skills.

Must be willing to travel, although the majority of our current work covers the North-west and Midlands.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attending sites and providing overhead and underground fibre cabling.
- Installing Blown Fibre Tubing (BFT)
- Test, rod and rope of underground cable routes.
- Working at heights and in the UG network.

**We are looking for people who meet the following criteria**:

- Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence
- NRSWA Street works Operative unit 2 card required
- Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and works instructions.
- Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs, job packs, apps, data recordings and network design maps.

Have experience working on Openreach’s Network and have the following Openreach accreditations including but not exclusive:

- N23 or N26 One Fibre Network Build
- K008 Test Rod and Rope
- Proven experience building on PIA infrastructure.
- Confident working at heights and in the underground network where applicable.
- Excellent communication skills & follow Health & Safety guidelines

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
