Downside School has an opportunity for someone to join us within one of our boys boarding houses, to assist with the supervision and pastoral care of boarding pupils within the house. You will have responsibility for several duties to support the health and general wellbeing of the pupils.

**We can offer our House Parents the following**:

- Part time hours. Your working hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am 1.30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8am 6pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, and alternating Saturdays 8am 6pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Permanent contract, term time plus 10 days in the School holidays to include INSET days (working 36 weeks per year).
- Annual leave of 5.6 weeks including bank holidays, to be taken in line with independent school holidays.
- Hourly rate of £10.77 per hour, actual annual salary £17,941.20 for working term time only plus 2 weeks.
