Nursery Manager

Our client a lovely Nursery setting in Buckinghamshire is looking for a Nursery Manager 40 hours per week, £13 per hour, all year round. It is a 27 place setting open from 8-5.30. To plan and deliver effective daily management of the setting, in accordancewith company policy, all relevant legislation, plus local authority and OFSTED requirements.
- To ensure that the provision is of the highest quality; providing a safe, stimulating and child-centred environment, catering for the children’s educational and developmental needs.
- To ensure that all agreed quality and safety standards are maintained in the setting at all times.
- Responsible for leading the Deputy Manager with management of all children and staff.
- To liaise closely with parents/carers to ensure high levels of involvement and customer satisfaction at all times.

Aims and Objectives
- Adhere to the OFSTED regulatory statutory framework.
- Plan learning and play activities, following the EYFS.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers.
- Play a positive role in helping children separate from their main carers and their transition to primary school.
- Promote and encourage the Christian values of sharing, caring and respect for ourselves and each other through sharing and having fun together.
- Be positive role models for the children.

**Qualifications**:

- NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- A positive approach to gaining further qualifications
- Firm understanding of the importance of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene in the workplace
- Foundation degree
- Completion of Safeguarding Awareness course (Group 2)
- Health & Safety certificate
- First Aid certificate
- Completion of other relevant courses.
