Trainee Fitter

**Job Title: Trainee Machine Fitter**

**Shift: Monday - Thursday 07:45 - 17:00, Friday 07:45 - 12:30**

**Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 (Dependent on Experience)**

**Location: Leicestershire, LE8**

**The Role**:
The Machine Fitter (MF) is a key member of the Production Team supporting the build and retrofit of CNC and automated machine systems.

**The duties include**:

- Building and assembling CNC machines
- Aligning ball screws, linear rails
- Disassembly of machines and rebuild with new components
- All machine and axis alignments
- Working from engineering drawings
- Meeting Environmental, Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements
- Experience on machine tools, proven workplace experience
- Experience with optical and laser measuring equipment is preferred, but not essential
- Experience on surface scraping would be an advantage
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
