**MAIN TASKS**:
**Minimum 3 years driving experience, home or small trade**
Loading and unloading of stock.
Delivering stock and accurately checking it off, whilst obtaining proof of delivery
Ensuring that vehicles are kept in appropriate condition that defects are reported, and the cab interiors are kept tidy.
Driving in a safe, courteous and legal manner.
Liaising with Co-workers
Communicating effectively with co-workers
Dealing with customers in an appropriate manner that matches the values of the company
Responding appropriately to customer inquiries.
Ensuring returned goods are acceptable, handled appropriately
Collecting and returning unwanted stock to warehouse.
General warehouse duties, including stock control, storing and picking goods.
Dealing appropriately with complaints.
Maintaining records
Maintaining legal tachographs if applicable
Recording and reporting vehicle defects.
Contributing to Health & Safety and Workplace Security
Carrying out relevant procedures in the case of an emergency.
Disposing of waste rubbish and Recycling when appropriate.
Carrying out security procedures.
Maintaining good relationships in the workplace
Communicating effectively in the workplace.
Maintaining positive working relationships
Receiving and relaying messages within the organisation.
To undertake other duties as deemed reasonable by the depot management
IT and knowledge of logistics / route planning would be beneficial
**Personal qualities**
Ability to work as part of a team and actively participate in team decision making.
Ability to show initiative, and to work independently without supervision.
Ability to take on responsibility, and complete tasks set through to the end.
Ability to share and exchange information with others.
Participate in the meetings and decision-making processes
Clean driving licence or minor traffic offence
Courteous and polite demeanour
**One or more overnight stays may be required depending on routing/location**
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,502.40 per year
