**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Design highly creative 2D illustrations and artwork for the Vertical Games product pipeline, working individually and collaborating on products, fulfilling any designated areas of the game art workflow as and when required.
- Preparing, Producing and optimising game art such as but not limited to game backgrounds, characters, branding and logos, symbols, As well as UI components, with an understanding of best practices to produce game art ready for the animation and visual effects pipeline stages
- Interpret and implement the game art requirements from the Head of Graphics, Senior Artists and other game design heads taking graphical responsibility for any designated content creation elements.
- Work closely with the senior artists to support the QA and deployment departments throughout testing of the product, fixing any relevant graphical issues raised

**WHO YOU ARE**
- A strong digital art portfolio, with examples of layout and composition.
- Experience using Esoteric Spine or similar software, rigging 2D skeletons, animating characters is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the structure of games
- Enthusiasm and initiative.
