**Quality Inspector, **Salary: Up to £34,700 per annum, Location: Weymouth, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced **Quality Inspector** to join an expanding company in Yeovil that works with the aerospace, defence, and commercial sectors. In this role, you will work closely with a team of passionate individuals to ensure that all machined and fabricated components meet both client and company standards.

As a **Quality Inspector**, you will use your extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes to perform the following responsibilities:

- Conducting First Off Inspections
- Performing In Process and Roaming Inspections
- Completing Pre
- and Post-Treatment Inspections
- Conducting Goods In Inspections
- Performing Final Inspections
- Producing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar role within a machined and fabricated environment. Additionally, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Proficiency in using handheld measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, height gauges, comparators, and thread gauges
- Prior experience in quality assurance within the aerospace industry
- An understanding of tolerances
- The ability to write detailed reports (FAIR to AS9102)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
