**Deputy Nursing Home Manager**

**Wetherby Manor**

**£45,000 per annum**

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to be the clinical lead in Wetherby Manor, delivering a service that supports happy living and exceeds customer expectations. In the role, you will:

- Be accountable for activities within the location, making decisions in the best interests of the customers.
- Deliver a quality of service which meets Care Quality Commission (CQC) fundamental standards, improving the quality of customer’s lives and supporting happy living for the years ahead.
- Understanding of CQC essential standards and their impact in care management and practice.
- Promote individualised person-centred care, addressing all areas of risk management.

**What You Need**:

- Previous people management experience in a care home setting
- A strong understanding of the needs of older people
- CQC fundamental standards and their impact in care management
- Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults to ensure a safe, effective, caring and responsive service is provided
- Current NMC Registration is preferable but not essential
