Import/export Clerk

**Salary**: £27k for experienced

Neg salary for trainee level

**Hours: 9**:00am-5.30pm

**Responsible to**: Management

**Key Relationships**: All Staff

**Location**: Southend on Sea, Essex

**Salary**: Negotiable up to 28k or entry level will be paid

**Hours**:Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

**Holiday**: 20 days plus bank holidays

**Additional**: You will be required to be on call (overtime and out of hours will be paid

**Requirements**:

- Must have previous experience however my client will train should the person be interested in this field
- Global logistics
- Good organisational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- import and export experience

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Liaising with hauliers, co-loaders and 3rd party suppliers
- Arranging shipments with airlines and hauliers
- Completing export paperwork
- Job costing / Quotations
- Arranging collections
- Customs entries
- Data entry onto freight system
- Consular documentation
- Customer service - Updating clients with shipments status and resolving any issues
- Liaising with foreign agents

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
