**Quality Engineer (QA Engineer)**

**Remote Working (ideally based near to Plymouth, however, not essential)**

**£37,500 - £40,000 per annum**

**Key Duties**:

- Produce detailed test suites and executions against BDD requirements within Jira
- Work against those BDD requirements using gherkin syntax for easy correlation.
- Provide and track system feedback during design and testing phases that ensure highest quality delivery.
- Testing REST API services using Postman
- Cross environment and browser testing
- Test suite creation using gherkin syntax from requirement specifications and acceptance criteria
- Replicating and debugging issues, gathering recreation steps as required.
- Using JIRA to log and manage issues.
- Product regression testing
- Participation in sprint planning and daily stand-ups

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in software testing
- Experience working in Agile development
- Flexible to changing priorities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Detail-oriented and inquisitive, and can ask incisive questions
- Experience of working in a geographically distributed team would be ideal
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision, but with the confidence to ask for assistance when needed
- An interest and understanding of how products interact with each other
- Fantastic communications skills, both written and verbal
