Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Room Attendant to join our team. As a Senior Room Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our childcare facility. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for early childhood education.
**Duties**:
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to ensure a positive and nurturing environment
- Manage and supervise a team of room attendants, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote learning and development
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for children, following all health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular assessments to track children's progress and address any developmental concerns
- Collaborate with parents to address any specific needs or concerns regarding their child's care
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, scheduling, and inventory management
**Skills**:
- Early childhood education: Possess a strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Nursery experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is required
- Experience with children: Demonstrated experience working directly with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Childcare management: Proven ability to manage and lead a team of room attendants effectively
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children
- Driving: Valid driver's license may be required for certain job responsibilities
- English proficiency: Strong verbal and written English language skills are essential for effective communication
- Leadership: Ability to lead by example, inspire others, and create a positive work environment
