To assist the radiographers, radiologists and other members of the radiology multi disciplinary team by carrying out non-radiographic duties which include reception / clerical duties, the care, preparation and management of patients presenting for radiological procedures, transfer of patients to and from the Radiology Department when appropriate, and may also involve the processing of images as required

The Radiology Service at Ysbyty Gwynedd is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographic Assistant. This member of staff will predominantly be based in CT/MR/US departments, with their main roles including assisting with patient flow, service support and general patient care duties. General clerical and administrative / reception tasks may also be required, and there may also be a requirement to cover this role in community based Radiology departments.

The post holder should ideally have experience of working within a Radiology department or other healthcare setting.

Hours will be rostered during the daytime and evening of weekdays and weekends.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
