Trainee Florist

**Main duties include**:

- Assisting in the day to day running of the Flower Shop.
- Using creativity and knowledge to assemble floral bouquets, baskets, wedding flowers and funeral tributes.
- Conditioning of flowers and storing correctly
- Maintaining display areas
- Selling flowers to the general public, serving and advising customers, taking orders and payments
- Dynamic, enthusiastic with artistic flare and creativity with an eye for detail, trends, merchandising and displays.
- Motivated, hardworking, well organised with the ability to work as part of a team and at times under pressure.
- Have a high level of integrity & professionalism, providing outstanding customer service.
- Energetic and a problem solver with initiative.
- Full clean driving licence would be helpful but not necessary.

You will be expected to be flexible and work an array of shift patterns to suit the needs of the business. We are primarily a day-time operation however the role may involve occasional evening work.
