Mixing Operative

We have a rare vacancy for a Mixing Operative position at our food production client based in Strood with immediate starts.

This is a busy manufacturer who are expanding all of the time and with a full order book they require staff an experienced Mixing Operative to work on the production side of the business.

As a Mixing Operative you will be mixing the raw ingredients in bulk with the assistance of a mixing machine or centrifuge. You will need to weigh out the ingredients in the correct quantities, following set recipes and load the igredients into the machines. The raw ingredients come in barrels, boxes and sacks and heavy lifting is regularly required.

Previous Mixing or Blending experience is preferred, especially within the food sector.

Attention to detail is crucial and our client has long term, temp to perm, positions available with additional training and career development.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 9am through to 5pm Starting salary: £10.42 per hour.

Weekly pay. PAYE. Accrued holiday pay. No umbrellas or agency fees.
