To support our growing business, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy accounts department within our Gateshead office based at Team Valley.

As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:

- Producing Sales invoices for all divisions of the group
- Coding and processing Purchase invoices
- Dispute management
- Client contact & Reconciliations
- Sage payments
- Journal processing
- Database maintenance
- Other ad hoc duties to assist the accounts department
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience of Sage 50 accounts
- Experience of using CRM systems
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
- The ability to work individually as well as part of a wider team
- A ‘can do’ attitude with a proactive approach
- Ability to work well under pressure

On-site parking

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
