Finance Clerk

**WB Employment **are looking for an experienced Finance clerk to join a distribution company based in Thornbury on a part time basis. As the Finance Clerk you will report to the Finance Officer and will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical assistance. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures, processing and monitoring receipts and revenues, and preparing and monitoring the payroll system. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner which will ensure that agency finances are accurate, that staff are paid in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits.
**Key Responsibilities - FINANCE**
- Maintain Purchase order log
- Liaise with Head office re supplier and customer invoices
- Create customer invoices
- Control warehouse overtime / payroll
- Place orders with Suppliers
- Work with General Manger to produce monthly P&L
- Process transport invoices for onward charging to customers
- Process Warehouse invoices for third party customers
**Dealing with HMRC**
- Receipting EMCS documents within 5 working days
- Filing all delivery documentation to HMRC criteria
- Follow up on EMCS discrepancies
We can be flexible on hours, we are looking to offer someone around 20 to 30 hours per week. (preferably around the following - 9am to 3pm ) If you are interested in this role please submit your CV and a member of WB Employment will be in contact.

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
