These posts are fixed term until end of March 2025.

The Family Group Conferencing (FGC) Service has children and families at the heart of all interventions.

You will be responsible for facilitating family group conferences from a variety of referral points across children’s services and will work alongside the allocated workers to ensure the FGC plan is integral to all of the work we do with families to reduce the level of risk.

You will display a high level of determination to ensure young people are able to remain living within their family networks in order to achieve positive outcomes.

In doing this you will prepare families, children and young people for their family group conference, facilitate individual family group conferences and contribute to the promotion and development of the Family Group Conference Service ensuring that the child’s voice is heard throughout the child’s journey.

If you are a dynamic and passionate person committed to working with and supporting children, this is your chance to join us.

You will have good communication skills and experience of working with vulnerable families, children and young people.

You will need ability to liaise and work effectively with relevant agencies from several different disciplinary settings.

You will work as part of a team and endeavour to support your colleagues.

Interviews will take place Wednesday 19th June.
