As a Functional Skills Maths Tutor you will:

- Prepare and develop innovative lesson plans as well as designing and delivering group/ one to one activities.
- Ensure each individual is provided appropriate encouragement, guidance, and support to allow them to develop each session.
- Deliver training to individuals and groups following the programme curriculum, setting objectives and targets.
- Fully understand and assess each learner’s numeracy needs and requirements by using various diagnostic/ mock tests.

To be successful as a Functional Skills Maths Tutor you will:

- Be passionate about supporting a range of learners through the delivery of Maths Functional Skills.
- Hold a qualification in teaching or assessing on an interest in gaining a qualification within the training sector.
- Have gained a grace C or above in Maths and English GCSE's.
- Be confident being able to build positive relationships with young people who may have complex needs
- Describe yourself as an enthusiastic, determined, and resilient individual to support others with their qualifications.

In return my client is offering an annual salary of up to £30,000 per annum with the option to work either part-time or full-time.
