In this Social Media Strategist job, you will be working directly with our CEO and content team.

You will need to have experience on a variety of social media channels to come in, assess our strategy and adapt it to improve engagement. Your will work very closely with members of our content team and assist them with all our social media content.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an existing large social media audience and test out your ideas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Use your past experience to review our current strategy and develop new strategies that support our business goals.
- Utilize a creative flair to adapt messages in a way that facilitates understanding and generates engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to collect information and insights that will inform your strategic decisions.
- Take ownership of problems and find solutions in a proactive and effective manner.
- Possess a deep understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
- Craft compelling and effective social media content that resonates with our target audience.
- Analyse data and use insights to inform your strategy and optimize your campaigns.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other members of our marketing team.
- Manage projects and ensure that strategies are executed to a high standard.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools.
- Have a passion for innovation and experimentation**.**

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Work with the content team on some of the more minor daily tasks to make sure everything is working smoothly to transfer content over to social media.

**So, what are we looking for?**:

- A 2.1 degree from a top university
- At least 2 years experience in a social media role
- A strong understanding of the current social media landscape, with experience across different channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of success in social media marketing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- A willingness to work well in a team environment.
- A deep understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
- Experience in creative and strategic copywriting and conceptualization.

**Location**
- Remote (anywhere in the UK) or Guildford office (45 mins from central London).
