Middlesex, United Kingdom West London NHS Trust Full time

Due to on-going investment, a structure review and subsequent expansion of the West London CAMHS Systemic & Family Psychotherapy Team, we are extremely pleased to be able to recruit to the following new progression post which starts at Band 6 post for those currently in training and moves to Band 7 at UKCP professional registration. The post holder will have access to generic CAMHS training relevant to the role provided by the well established West London CAMHS Training and Development Programme.

Ealing CAMHS is developing its systemic pathway from Band 6 through to Band 7 posts for systemic practitioners who have been accepted or commenced masters level Systemic Family Therapy training. This is a new post and is open to enthusiastic clinicians who have either completed training on an Intermediate, or CPY-IAPT Systemic Family Practice post graduate course and who have been accepted onto a qualifying level course or who are currently undertaking a Master's level qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy.

Ealing CAMHS is a well-established multidisciplinary Specialist Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service which is based at 1 Armstrong Way, Southall, UB2 4SD.

Systemic Psychotherapy and NVR are well established in the borough of Ealing and you will be joining a team of creative, skilled and supportive therapists.

You will provide systemic assessments and interventions for children, young people and their families, under the supervision of one of the Specialist Systemic Psychotherapists in the team.

The post holder will join the Tier 3 Neurodevelopmental Team within the Service and under supervision will carry out specialist Neurodevelopmental and mental health assessments of children and young people and will document the outcome of these assessments, providing formulation, diagnosis, and recommendations for interventions.

They will be supported to offer a range of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions, including risk management, appropriate for children and young people attending the Service.
