An opportunity has arisen to work in the Hull City Council Planning Department alongside the planning and flood team to ensure that nature and biodiversity is considered in all development and flood decisions to protect and enhance the precious ecology the city has.

The role would involve working alongside these teams in facilitating how Biodiversity Net Gain is implemented alongside advising on and promoting nature-based solutions for flood risk.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for biodiversity and ideally with local knowledge of the nature and ecology of Hull.
