Are you passionate about careers guidance and want to work as part of a well-respected team of equally committed advisers? Can you network and build relationships with local training providers and employers? Do you enjoy researching and collating information to create careers resources for schools, parents and students? Would you like to enjoy the benefits of working as part of local charity, helping young people achieve their full potential? Do you have a Level 6 qualification, or working towards one) in advice and guidance and experience of working with young people between 11-18 years?
**About the role**
Sheffield Futures is passionate about providing support for young people to enter employment or education. We offer guidance - not instructions, and help young people in Sheffield discover the options available to them.
As Careers, Information and Employability Adviser you will have a varied role bringing together face-to-face guidance for individuals and groups, creating resources and developing our relationships with local employers and training providers.
**About You**
You will share our passion for providing high quality, meaningful careers guidance whether that’s face-to-face or through written materials. Using your knowledge and experience of career and learning progression routes you will bring the ability to help young people navigate the opportunities available to them.
Your ability to engage and enthuse others will be important in building relationships with local training providers and employers.
