Good communication skills are essential.

Our main kitchen provides in excess of 1400 prepared and cooked meals every day including therapeutic diets to patients, staff and the public. In addition, we cater for hospitality for meetings and functions.

Your duties include the man management of staff, responsibility for communication and direction of all staff in your area, organizing staff duty rotas to include leave and in house training. Processing patient menu cards and specific service of patient meals. Maintain a high standard of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for HACCP and environmental health. Cash handling, customer care, general catering duties a degree of flexibility is
essential as you may be required to work additional hours during periods of leave.

A basic food hygiene certificate is essential. Supervisory experience will be asked to be demonstrated and post holder must hold or be willing to work toward supervisory qualification i.e. Stepping Stones or equivalent

This post is for 18.375 hrs. per week. Working the hours of 3.00pm-8.30pm 30 min unpaid break working 7 days on/ 7days off.
