**THE ROLE**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with large FMCG suppliers.
- Negotiate cost prices to achieve company margins.
- Liaise with the marketing department to generate promotional leaflets for products and maximise advertising revenue for the business.
- Analysing sales data to forecast future buys which align with company products and brands.
- Dealing and resolving supplier queries for department.
- Effectively dealing with any product issue/recall and agreeing terms with supplier to remove unwanted product.
- Product review to ensure products are line with customer expectations.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous buying experience, either as an AB or BAA. Mentoring and development will be provided.
- University Degree and A-Levels are essential.
- Commutable to North Acton as would need to be in the office 5 days a week.
- Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
- Excellent understanding of all MS Office products including Excel
