Yard Operative

The Yard Operative required for a position with our client in Whittlesey, Peterborough.

This particular company is a builders’ merchants in the United Kingdom, and is approaching two hundred branches nationwide. Our client specialises in selling to the building trade and the general public, with products including general building materials,timber, landscaping materials, drainage products, insulation and plasterboard, kitchens and bathrooms, plumbing and heating, roofing products, doors, windows and stairs and painting and decorating materials.

The Yard Operative - The Role:

- Moving and monitoring stock
- Drive Forklift trucks to move stock around the yard
- Make sure yard is to company standard and accessible for the customers and workers
- Loading stock on to lorries
- Fast paced environment
Outdoor working
Hi/vis and safety boots are essential

Forklift Licence is essential
