**About the role**
As a Health Consultant within Crown Agents' Global Health Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery, operations, and growth strategy of the health portfolio.

**Technical and Programme Delivery**:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor health programs, ensuring adherence to highest quality standards.

Contribute to Crown Agents' reputation as a leading provider of health system strengthening and by delivering high-quality work and consistently exceeding client expectations.

Support Technical work planning and quality technical reports.

Support programme delivery to oversee the quality execution of health initiatives, from inception to completion.

Mitigate risks and issues that may arise during project implementation, employing problem-solving skills to ensure successful outcomes.

**Strategic Growth**:
Support the development of Crown Agents' health portfolio growth strategy by providing insights, market trends, and innovative ideas.

Identify emerging opportunities within the health sector, staying informed about industry trends, challenges, and best practices.

Working in close collaboration with the Business Development Manager, support capture strategies for specific opportunities including competitor analysis, scoping potential consortium roles, develop capacity statements and other relevant documents

Support the identification and tracking of relevant upcoming funding opportunities through intelligence gathering and donor portals

Compile research briefs across key health topics and geographical priority areas

Working in close collaboration with the team, support the submission of high-quality concepts, proposals and budgets

Support the development of communications materials to promote CA health work capabilities.

Support, and when applicable, lead the writing of technical briefs, conduct research and gather data to feed into bid design

**Support Client Engagement and Impact**:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs and expectations.

Communicate project progress, outcomes, and impact to clients in a clear and concise manner, building credibility and demonstrating the value of Crown Agents' services.

Collaborate with clients to identify potential areas for expansion or additional services, contributing to the growth of the health portfolio.

Build knowledge and experience through working with colleagues, developing networks, communicating widely

Be aware of and adhere to company quality standards and procedures in accordance with Crown Agent’s commitment to working to the highest quality standards and striving for continual improvement

Collaborate with the Director of Health on various projects and attend relevant meetings; follow up on pertinent action items

Help resolve operational pinch points which need following up and tracking across multiple business teams

Be aware of and compliant with all the standards following Safeguarding procedures and policies. Promote Crown Agents’ speak up culture in order to protect the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults

Any other duties as appropriate to the position, as requested.

**About you** Qualification**

**Experience**

Typically at least 4 years in international development with focus on Global Health

Proven experience in managing complex health projects, preferably within an international context.

Strong understanding of Global Health and health system strengthening

Experience in proposal development and business development activities

Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills: the ability to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external contacts with confidence and poise

A self-starter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation

Proven organizational and time management skills: the ability to work accurately and productively in a fast-paced environment and respond/adapt to shifting priorities

Comfortable working with limited direction

Analytical thinker with the ability to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the health sector.

Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
