**Our Procurement Coordinator**
- In this role, you will be an integral member of the Merchandising Team. You will work alongside buyers, product developers, warehouse logistics and finance to bring product, including our range of Newt branded products, to both retail and hospitality teams. This is a crucial role that will support the team in optimising all key functions across procurement and stock management. Ensuring that products are kept in stock, minimising wastage and maintaining accuracy for our product information across all systems & records.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Understanding the need for clear and accurate data, maintaining all systems and following product processes.
- Ensuring that supplier and product information is regularly checked and kept up to date for external suppliers.
- Regularly checking our website and shops to make sure that products, prices, and display information is accurate and aligned.
- Raising POs and placing orders with Suppliers.
- Building relationships with external suppliers, organising delivery dates and making cancellations where necessary.
- Negotiating terms with new suppliers and at regular intervals with current suppliers for consumables.
- Working harmoniously with key stakeholders around the estate, including finance, warehouse operations, hospitality and internal production teams.
- Working with the operational team to assist in the smooth movement of stock in and around the estate.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the Range Plan.
- Maintaining the internal barcode library.
- Setting up new products on internal systems. Working with the ecommerce / shop / hospitality teams to ensure pricing accuracy and product alignment across all channels.
- Working with the goods in team and accounts team, to reconcile invoicing paperwork and request credit notes from suppliers where necessary. Procuring consumables for the wider estate.
- Monitoring of our delivery calendar to ensure all orders arrive in a timely manner, or are chased accordingly.
- Maintaining the shelf-life inventory process of key & high risk products.
- Assisting in pulling sales data from our Retail and E-Com systems to show Product sales.

**What we're looking for**
- Excellent Excel knowledge (experience with conditional formatting, IF functions, X/VLOOKUPs is essential)
- Fantastic time management, with the ability to time block and distribute your time between multiple projects and focuses
- A good understanding of finance and the sales order / purchase order / invoice process.
- Experience within a retail, procurement or merchandising team dealing with consumer products
- Excellent people skills - the ability to work in harmony with other departments (finance, warehouse ops, buyers, producers)
- Experience with supplier relations and negotiation
- An understanding of warehouse ops and the goods in process of bringing product into the business
- An understanding of the market, the competition and product value Interested in product and driven by desire for The Newt to be the best in class
