**Who you’ll be working for**:
As an apprentice office administrator with McQuilkin & Co, you will be working for a business which haspeople at the heart of everything we do.

**Overview**:
You will work within the laboratory supplies business helping to provide great customer service.through a number of different channels of communication. All of this with a slightly shorter working day on a Friday

Whilst gaining impeccable on the job learning you will also be working towards your SCQF Digital Applications Support Diploma with QA.

**Working week**:
37hrs a week.
Monday - Thursday,
8:30am - 5:00pm,
and Friday will be from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be trained on Business Central system to:

- Deliver excellent customer service
- Communicate with customers using telephone and outlook
- Learn how to operate software to extract information
- Learn how to operate our customer management systems
- Learn how to input and manipulate data

**What skills and qualities should you have?**
- Dependable
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop
- Team player
- Eager to contribute and take initiative
- Positive attitude to work and willingness to learn

**Future prospects**:
92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship.
Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Skills Development Scotland agency.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
